Licensed radio amateur for nearly twenty years (M1SMH/F4VRL) I am also very interested in what is generically called the SWL (Short Wave Listening) side of the hobby. My specific interests on the listening side are Trans-Atlantic medium wave (MF=medium frequency) dxing and sporadic E/Tropo  propagation on Band I (48-72 Mhz), Band II (87.5-108 MHz) and the amateur 6m band (50 Mhz).

I’m fortunate to have stations in suburban western coastal Wirral IO83 and the rural Languedoc (near Carcassonne) JN13.
